From Coal To Cops is a fiction novel. The main character is an Australian guy Jake Campbell, who is working in an underground coal mine. Jake wants more from life and joins the Police Force. Jake is a good looking naive country guy who is divorced with two young sons. Australian humour is throughout the novel and so is Jake's brutal honest approach to Policing and life, he is a born protector and tangles with corrupt police, bikies, and drug dealers ferociously protecting the innocent using his fists and friends.
Jake is a stand out in the big smoke of Sydney but has no luck with the women he meets, going from one comical relationship to another. So hang on and enjoy the read of fun, drama and adrenaline in "From Coal To Cops"

He takes his life in his own hands during a major bushfire that destroyed large parts of the Australian Capital Territory including his place of work, Mount Stromlo observatory. He discovers courage and the power to survive while rescuing Rebecca and 3 co-workers from the flaming inferno. He is himself becomes severly injured and falls into a coma. But the change process does not end here. He enters the Dreamtime to complete the Brolga dance and experiences a healing process supported by the legends of the Aborigines and Yarrabindi the girl with nine toes that will change his life forever.
